A Short Note About Charlotte
Bloomington City Council president from 1971-1975, Charlotte’s many honors include the dedication of the Monroe County Justice Center in her name, a Rotary Club Toast for “service above self,” the Sagamore of the Wabash award, until 2006 the highest honor the Governor of Indiana could bestow. She holds a Ph.D in Linguistics from the University of Michigan, was Co-founder of Goods for Cooks, and has regularly received recognition for her continuing business, civic and educational contributions to the city of Bloomington, the State of Indiana, and the nation.
